Canyoning in Málaga ‘La Sima del Diablo’ (The gorge of the devil)

A real adventure in Málaga is to go canyoning in Málaga’s gorge ‘La Sima del Diablo’.
Only some metres away from the river ‘Genal‘ you can find these shady and narrow gorges. Before the introduction of alpine techniques the gorges were inaccessible for the citizens of the village for many years.

In total there are four locations where we go abseiling, the highest one is more than 33ft. (10m). This is great fun for all those who love adventure sports.
Canyoning in the gorge of the devil. For the participants, the twists and turns of the gorge will turn into showers of adrenaline especially during those times of the year when the gorges are full with water.
Programme:
7.45am: Welcome of participants in the ‘El Torrichelli’ Bar.
8.15am: Arrival at entrance to the gorge.
8.45am: Abseiling into the gorge.
12.30pm: End of activity, walk back to start point.
3.00pm: Rest and lunch.
3.30pm: End of programme.
Duration: Approx. 3.5 hours.
Level of difficulty: Low.

- Children must be at least 4.9ft (150cm) tall to be able to take part in the activity.
The participants must be able to swim.
